Fred McGaver

Fred McGaver is an insurance representative of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) and has been in the financial services industry since 1981. His specialty is insurance planning for businesses, and helping families in achieving financial freedom. Fred developed The Accelerated Mortgage Pay-Off Strategy, which allows families to be debt-free faster.

Fred earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management, Marketing and Economics from Marquette University. While in college, Fred competed on the Marquette University Varsity Wrestling Team and earned the distinction of being Marquette’s 1st All American. In 1999, Fred was inducted into the Marquette University Athletic Hall of Fame. After college, Fred continued to compete, most notably at the Olympic Trials in 1996. At age 40, Fred was the oldest wrestler to compete in the Olympic Trials. In 2001, Fred was honored with the Olympic Diploma. The Olympic Diploma is given each year to an individual who has demonstrated sportsmanship in helping the United States Wrestling Team. Fred was also a training partner for the Olympic Champions from 1980 through 2000. He has trained with 13 Olympic or World Champions during a 20 year span of time as they prepared to represent America in international competitions.

Fred also served as a high school wrestling coach and, over the past 30 years, his teams have achieved State Championship Titles at 3 different schools 12 times. Currently, Fred lives in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. When he is not working or coaching, Fred enjoys biking, reading and does handwriting analysis.
